Santa Catarina has 29 catalogued beaches. Santa Catarina Island’s giant dunes and world-class surf, with a northern coast dominated by Balneário Camboriú’s high-rise skyline.
High season runs from July to mid-September. Outside it prices fall 30 to 50 per cent and most access points, restaurants and local transport keep running.
